So yeah- once we pay the hotel bill and the marina bill, we will be flat broke. At least until we sell the car, which could take a while. And this means that we won't be able to pay for the mooring or a dinghy, either. Or food. We'd have a place to sleep, but that's about it, as we'd only be able to stay docked for 48 hrs to get our stuff together.

EDIT:
The status is not quo, but it's getting there. Murphy's Law in full effect this month, for serious. Icing on the cake? Had to wash the cats and carriers; thankfully, happened just as we got to Wakefield. It's a hot day, though, so at least they'll dry on the way to Gloucester. Plus, we'll be getting the pet deposit back as the hotel room was left clean, and the cost to put Stardust in the water wasn't as much as first calculated. Between the two, we'll have a little bit in the bank left for provisions. Sleeping on the boat tonight by the will of god.

 

BOAT!!!

boat in water; Bryan on his way; we have until the end of the day tomorrow to get the boat out of Gloucester so expect us to be in RI sometime this weekend. Still need a dinghy and some small items, but at least we can sleep on the boat tonight.
