Here are a few interesting cakes that I've googled today. I would be willing to give the topsy-turvy cake a shot.

Surprisingly, the fondant cakes are not as complicated to make as I'd thought, although time-consuming. I mean, you pretty much can go simple or go all out, depending on your skill level and patience.

This one really impressed me. I found a few 3D cat cake recipes online that I could do, which involve cutting round cakes in half to create the body, and cutting up a smaller cake to make arms, legs, face, and tail. None of them are as beautiful as this one, created from fondant.
And finally, one that is a bit more realistic for a teen and her mom to make. LOL > ^_^ <
So, Bree wants to make a round, single-flavor Cheshire Cat cake herself, with strawberry ears and such.
I want to be a bit more creative, and make a topsy-turvy cake like those featured above, or a 3D Cheshire Cat.
I think perhaps she can make hers, and I'll make a topsy-turvy cake another time. Or else, I could make topsy-turvy teacakes to serve with cucumber sandwiches and various iced teas. I have a lot of ideas that would be fun and creative.
