We must believe in magic...
Nov. 22nd, 2010 01:41 pmGood news is that the marina agreed to let us stay there if we could get up half the money, which we were able to, and pay them the remainder later. So in about an hour, we will be officially moving the boat over to our dock. (^_^)
Long story short is that boaters stick together, and a lot of people have been wanting to help from behind the scenes, so to speak. Without asking how much we needed, a generous boater handed me his address and some folded bills. Said that we could pay him back when we were able. And then, last night he asked if we could run to the store and pick up some food, and invited us over for a BBQ.
Thank The Divine for the kindness of strangers. Strangers who become friends.
