My cousin's baby was born this morning: her name is Mary Alice. <3
Going to a masquerade mad tea party tonight in Rochester. The theme is "madness". I've got a fox mask and a plan. So far, the odds and ends of clothing and ribbon are coming together in a gypsy-pirate-steampunk fashion. Not sure what it's going to look like, but my other option is to wear a kimono and dress as a kitsune. (However, I don't have any craft fur or feathers, nor do I have the time to make a few tails.) I have to get cracking, though, if I want my hair to come out nice and wild for it.
Our siamese is doing well today. Poor thing had to have four teeth yanked yesterday, so he's eating soft foods and taking antibiotics. Last night he looked drunk while the anaesthesia wore off, weaving around and falling over. Didn't seem to bother him, though. He'd get confused and just pick himself up and walk faster. LOL We're supposed to bring him back in a week for a follow-up.
Other than that, just another day in the life. We're hoping to catch Alice in Wonderland tomorrow night after work, and then go to the zoo on Sunday since it's been too bloody cold all winter.
