Looks like I will need to juggle my priorities a bit, because I'm not sure how I'm going to manage chores, work, and time with my kids. I worked ten hours yesterday; thankfully, she's been transferred to a different office starting today, so less commute time. Basically, her hours are like my husband's: work Saturdays, shave an hour on weekdays. This week she works until 5pm, but next week she will get out earlier. However, one day each week she will be working second shift, 11-8. So, my kids will have to get off at her house, because otherwise, I won't be home to make dinner. *sigh* But it would allow me to actually make early morning appointments, so...
Overall, things went well enough, just tiring because I haven't worked in so long, plus I'm on my feet most of the morning. I was very glad that he takes a two-hour nap after lunch, because I seriously needed to eat and recharge. LOL On a positive note, it keeps me from being lazy. I'm willing to do this until her mom recovers. After that? We'll see.
Came home to find that my son had opened one of the boxes of chocolates that he'd been selling. *headdesk* So I told him calmly that he will be paying the person back from the money he saved up for a game, because that was something Bryan's co-worker had ordered. His dad? Yelled and swore. Fun times in my house last night. (And I never threw laundry in, and the dog pooped before I got home since no one was there to let him out. So, yeah; time to juggle.)
