I Haz a Hat!
Mar. 15th, 2009 04:46 pmWhich, in Jagermonster terms, means that it's a good plan.
I've got a nice black fedora, to replace the one my daughter has taken over. The houndstooth one looks better on her, anyway.
Other fun things from my shopping trip: creme brulee truffles, a pretty flowerpot for Grandma, Dead Like Me movie, and a new showerhead. I picked up a CD for one brother, and am giving the cheeseburger phone to the other, plus there's the Jewel CD for Mom. We picked out swimsuits for the kids, so I hope that Bree's fits.
EDIT: Of course, that would be asking too much, right? Too small. Apparently, she is in ladies medium for clothing now. So, now I'll have to return it, and most likely take her to the Limited Too, instead.
Because, honestly? Target's swimsuit collection is butt ugly this year. Plus, most of the styles were either bikinis or skanky one-pieces with large holes cut out of the side. There is no way that she'd wear something like that, since she prefers sports bras and tank tops. In her case, modesty is the best policy. Daunted by the lack of appropriate attire for her, I was hesitant to try on plus-size swimsuits. Just for reference, mind you, since I know that my top is about three sizes larger than my bottom. (Which is why I custom order my swimsuits. Exelnt Designs is a great place to find swimwear if you do not fit the common parameters of what stores have in stock.) I hope that I can find mine from two years ago, but I doubt that the top will fit. (I went up a cup size, but lost inches around the rib cage, so I'm in an odd bra size now.)
